Im thinking about buying an iPhone 4. I need to know something about the data plans. Read the details below?

Any downloads using the cellular network will come off of your allowance. However to adress your point, it's very rare that I download apps, music or videos when i haven't got acess to wifi. Wifi is free on all data plans, so is best to use that as much as possible.

buying apps of itunes wont affect ur 1gb and well my brother has a iphone 4 and he uses the internet on his phone alot now really alot and he only finishes 500mb soo thats all fine althought you must have heared about the connection problems i personaly suggest that you dont buy the iphone 4 you should wait for Iphone 4GS come out so they will have the connection problem fixed and you wont have to wait long for the iphone 4GS to come out but that just me. its all up to you.
