When to feed my oprhan puppy 'puppy mash'?
Also, exactly what is puppy mash?
I can take a good guess by the name, but I'd like to know.
I have two orphan 2 week pups who are on puppy milk formula.
When should I change to mash?

You start letting them eat puppy food soaked with water or milk when they are about 4 weeks old. Right now is a little early.
Because you are not experienced, I would suggest going to the vet and getting some advice.

Usually they can start eating puppy mash at about 3 1/2 -4 weeks. They should have a few teeth by then. When I make puppy mash I put 3 cups of dry puppy kibble, a little canned puppy food, some puppy formula and water that has been boiled into a blender and then blend until it is the consistency of baby cereal. You won't need as much of it since you only have 2 pups. You will need to put some on your finger to get them going. You want to serve it at room temp. You will also need to start giving them water in a shallow dish to keep them from getting dehydrated make sure it isn't so deep that they can drown in it. You should take the pups to the vet to be checked out to make sure they are healthy. Good luck with your babies.

You can start weaning them to softened puppy food (to a thin consistency) when they're another 10 days old. At first they'll only be learning to lap it up, but as they actually start to eat, you can cut back their feedings from every 2 hours to 3 - 4. Offer water in a shallow bowl as well, and remove both as soon as they've finished
