Will you please not critique this poem . . .?

(Actually it's just a sentence)

ODE TO DECIDE

I stood in the doorway of guilt

and

forgiveness, not knowing

which way to turn;

I tripped

over the threshold

and fell

the wrong way.

Update:

No reformatting neither.

    I enjoyed this because I can relate. I may have tripped over the threshold, but I don't consider I fell the wrong way.

    Okay, then I'll 'just' reformat it:

    I stood in the doorway

    of guilt and forgiveness;

    not knowing

    which way to turn,

    I tripped

    over the threshold

    and fell

    the wrong way.

    Sorry, too late!

    I am such a contrarian I can't leave without comment. Pretty good. Is that a critique? No? Damn? I tried.

    They say a doorway is the best place to stand during a storm.

    Sounds like, a trick question LOL

    games people play,

    when they don't

    let you know

    where you stand.

    Excellent work!

    superlative piece...

    I'm still having a think about it but my gut feeling is that the title (not the poem lol!) doesn't quite do it justice...
