I am a so called 'straight', but i hope people do feel more able to just live their lives and not feel they have to justify themselves because of which partner they choose in life.
I have no illusions that discrimination is as prevalent as it has ever been, despite the weasel words of politicians... but bigots are fundamentally weak people. They will have to accept differences in the end... whether they like it or not. That is the nature of civilization. It is also the nature of humanity, decency and morality.
Time will defeat small mindedness.

I'm bisexual and I think society has come a long way to accepting LGBT people. Although, we still have a longgggggggggg way to go. If people are more open with them than gay marriage would be legal in our nation. I do believe it will be legal one day in the future but not for maybe 20 years. Also, the older population don't support LGBT or even the narrow minded population that are homophobic. I'd say people are more open about LGBT individuals but not enough yet.

I do! I'm bisexual, I'm thirteen, and I've known I was bi since I was about eight (So it's not "just a phase" B| ) There's a lot of famous people coming out as gay, and I think that's one of the reasons. Take the song Alejandro as an example, by Lady Gaga. Sure, there's still a lot of homophobes, but I think in time, that will die down.

I think so. I've seen it become more open as I grew up, there were things you couldn't say/do at hs without being beat up when I was young, now i'm 22 and it's much more accepted/open. the media has made it more acceptable with more gay ppl in music/movies/tv not just as characters to mock.
I'm gay.

I don't know if I would say society has become more accepting of lgbt persons, but I would say they have been exposed to it more since the lgbt community has become much more visible than it ever has.
I think gays and trans folks are more willing to be themselves in public, but I'm not so sure that the public understands (or stereotypes) them and/or their behaviour anymore than they did in the past.
And I'm an asexual intersexual (androgen insensitivity syndrome)

I'm glad that they are, but I feel, especially with those who claim to be bisexual, are confused, as 50% of pre-18 year old kids on the internet claim they are, without even having experimented with both genders, they do this for attention.
I'm hetero.

I think so, people tend to be a bit more accepting these days. There are famous, well-respected people now who are open with it and inspire others to open and comfortable in themselves.
I'm bisexual.

Yes, unfortunately. Which is bringing the wrath of God unto our great planet, and nothing shall save us but the sinners halting their sinning ways! Repent sinners! Lev. 18:22
