Is Alex Rodriguez going down?

It seems that Alex Rodriguez is playing bad lately . He gets outs a lot, and doesn't hit many HRs. How could that be a player with a record salary!!? What do you think?

Also do you think that the Yankees will win this year World Series?

He has 15 HR and he's hitting .270. That's not superstar phenom numbers, but 26-30 HR and .265 to .275 BA, what he's on pace for by the end of the year, is definitely a good year.

Will NYY win the world series? Good question. It depends on their competition: Will they face the Padres, the Braves, the Phils...I think they will make it to at least the ALCS and probably the World Series, but it will come down to who their opponents are. They do have a good chance, though.

How much do you know about baseball? In baseball, as a hitter, if you're successful 3 times out of 10 you're considered good, and no one has been 4 out of 10 since before all of us were born! Besides that, .270 and 15 HR may not seem like "A-Rod" numbers but they are definitely contribution numbers. They equate to a 30 HR season which most power hitters will accept, and he has never been a consistent .300 hitter. Most "power hitters" are around .270 to .280 for the most part except guys like Pujols and Mauer. Oh and BTW he has been injured this year too.

Don't ask me how Twins fans are feeling about Mauer.

its called being in a slump. every player goes through it.

ITs gonna be a long shot. they really need to bring everything together. it seems like when one guy is on fire everyone else is cold. And they need the pitching to be on top of its game if they want to win.
