Ramadan: What do you think of this?

Assalaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu :)

"If someone were to come to you with a bag of GOLD offering it to you as a GIFT, wud u turn them down just because the person giving has dirt in his hands, so u prefer keeping a CLEAN bt EMPTY hand instead of accepting the blessing offered to you? Probably not!

So also if ANYONE mu'min shud aproach u with SINCERE ADVIC...E never turn it down just bcos u dnt think the brother/sister is "perfect". Wake up now and face the REALITY, we are all sons of adam A.S NONE of us is perfect, if you wait for the perfect one to come before u take advice then u will NEVER take advice ur whole life. Rather, like the soiled GOLD, take it WASH off the dirt in it and use it for you own good, u never know it cud be the LAST time Allaah sends someone ur way with a sincere heart.... Just a word of advice for us ALL"

I took this from another forum =) And thought I'd share it here :)

Please leave your comments and opinions, JazaakAllahu Khiren !!

    No sister.

I wouldn't take a bag of gold from an evil person.Neither an advice!

A clean empty hand is a lot better than a dirty hand.

What makes you think that an evil person forwards a blessing to you?

The second paragraph is about mumins and it has nothing to do with the first part.

Isn't the following warning clear enough?

''O ye believers, when a message reaches onto you from a munafiq make a through

    search before accepting it!''

May Allah guide us to His true path...

Good reminder dear sister. We should take advice when it is good and has daleel to back it up, we should also take advice from those of knowledge in all areas of life. Those that give advice will not be perfect, even the Prophet(sallaAllahu alayhe wa sallam) was not perfect. But we should at the same time be careful who we take advice from. Some speak with out knowledge, and they may have good intentions, but intention is only half the deed, they have to have the knowledge from Quran and Sunnah to back it up.

And here is my own advice to those that give advice. Speak of only what you know, it is ok to say "I don't know"

Also people you got to practice what you preach.

Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture! Have you then no sense? 2:44

    And Allah knows best

Very good one. Everyone must follow it. Then there will not be any discrepancies between anybody. Dirt is what u think in your mind about others. Have a clean heart, then all will be fine now, in future, and, further also.

    Wasallam to all humans!!!!

Wa alaikummusalam. I completely agree with your thought. Whatever we hear, we rub it with Quran and Hadiths.
