Fearless: A film about the life of Huo Yuanjia, starring Jet Li. This was a great movie with some very good fighting scenes. Showcases some very good kung fu. Some high flying that it could have done without. It also could have shown the main character as less superhuman while fighting, but none the less. This movie shows the combat-effective aspects of kung fu, and that it's not just all show and flash.

Ong Bak 2: Just amazing, really. A pretty solid plot which is overshadowed by unbelievable fight scenes. Shows some just really amazing kung fu, as well as other arts. I thought there was some underlying commentary about martial arts in general there that was really neat. Such as a scene where the main character is in a sword fight, but he repeatedly shuts down this (I believe) samurai/ronin, because this Japanese swordsman doesn't know how to change ranges/fight at that range, while the main character adapts to the range. Just a whole lot of amazing fight scenes, and while there is some kind of goofy acrobatics stuff, there's very little actual "wire-fu".

Four Dragons: This movie had a lot of big, fake, blood splatters. At one point, I think in the early middle of the film, the whole thing really kind of grinds to a slow crawl, plot/action-wise. But, it picks back up after a while. Shows some very good kung fu, including some Monkey and Chin Na, and some basics that some styles of kung fu share with other arts, such as a few throws, knees, elbows. I like that because it seems that many people these days think that Muay Thai is the only art to teach elbows and knees, and Four Dragons really shows that kung fu uses knee and elbow strikes as well, just in a kung fu way. There's also a scene early on in the movie that shows a multiple attacker, knife scenario, which I recall rather liking. Even though the main characters are supposed to be these kung fu prodigies, they still get really beat up and cut up in that fight - a level of realism that I really rather enjoy.

Hero: A deeply philosophical look at martial arts, and life. Lots of wire-fu, with some kind of bleh fight scenes.

Kung Fu Hustle: This movie was really goofy, really. There was a bunch of really crazy and wild special effects that made this almost cartoon-like in its slapstick style comedy, which was coming a mile a minute. But! It displayed some very, very, very good kung fu fights at times, and even had some interestingly subtle commentary about ethics.

The Forbidden Kingdom: Had its moments, y'know? Wasn't great, but it wasn't bad by any means.

Never Back Down and Fighting were ok. There was some parts that had me sincerely interested.

Ip Man 1 and 2, obviously.

Crows Zero was a really fun fighting movie, not so much martial arts though.

Edit!: Red Belt and Blood and Bone, how could I forget those. Red Belt was alright, with a little bit of cheese, but still good. Blood and Bone too was a little too super hero-esque, but still good too.

I really liked Never back down. The only reason I list that as the best movie is because I have not seen any other true martial arts movies. Alot of hardcore MMA fans will tell you that movies like Never back down are a joke and in no way represent MMA correctly, therefore no real MMA fan should see it. Don't listen to that garbage. It's a good movie.

    I would say:

    1) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (released in 2000, so it just makes the last decade)

    2) Hero

    3) Kung Fu Hustle

Kung Fu Hustle is an outstanding movie with excellent kung fu style. Some of it is over the top and you'll laugh, but it is entertaining.
