i already installed The Sims on my PC, can i uninstall it then install it again on my laptop?

would the game still work if i uninstalled it from my PC then installed it onto my laptop?

    Make sure your laptop has a dedicated graphic card on it and at least 2GB of ram, otherwise the game will run poorly if at all.
