You can't "win" someone's heart. Well, someone can grow to love you, but being in love is something that depends on chemistry; it's either there or it isn't. Getting someone's heart as in them being in love with you is something you don't win, sadly.

I think you have to have a lucky number! Just kidding. I don't know how you win someone's heart...it just seems to happen (or not).

effort, and perseverance. Never giving up on that person. But you also have to know when to let go. I say keep trying until it hurts, and some people try even when it hurts. Loving that person with all your heart & soul. Being there. Never leaving them. Just showing that your there for them & how much you care. Being yourself & treating them with respect. Honestly, I don't know. I wish I knew.
