Is it time for patriotic Americans on both sides to stop giving cable news so much power?
We're allowing ourselves to be manipulated in the interest of ratings, and it's hurting America.
Are you willing to stop buying manufactured "facts" on either side and try to get down to what's actually going? Personally, I'm embarrassed that this nation has turned into a bunch of manipulated fools on both sides of the aisle.
It's not whether or not we hate cable news. It's whether we believe them. There are better sources -- original documents, original interviews, etc. Make up your own mind without being told what to think.

It's time people learned how to think critically, but that's too hard. Laziness, anti-intellectual sentiment, and a crappy, under-funded school system make that near impossible.

It's time for 'patriotic americans' to stop accepting the abuses of broadcast news
as they are.
That is supposed to be 'public service time' and is subject to periodic review,
and public comment is invited.
If nobody complains, nothing gets done.
