BQ. Yes actually it has. Back in the mid eighties I had 3 cassette cases totaling 124 tapes stolen out of my car. There was a little of every thing from AC/DC to the Zombies in them.

The cop that came to take my info couldn't believe when I named every tape that was taken in the order they were in the cases. It helped though. A few months latter he came back and had me come down to the station to identify the cases and go through about 1000 tapes that were recovered from a house a few blocks over. Seems a dad was looking for some of his music and went into his sons room to look for it, when he found hundreds of tapes and cd's he made his teenage son turn himself in.

I got them all back but two, Rush - All The Worlds A Stage and The Who - An Hour With The Who. The Rush one has since been replaced on cd, but the Who tape was an off brand greatest hits package from the late 70's that I'd never seen before or since.

Here's hoping you'll luck out like I did and they catch the jerk.

That is NOT something I should ever be sarcastic about...On a serious note, I'd recommend anything Bowling For Soup. Perhaps you need a good laugh? I'd also recommend sites like Youtube or Playlist.com where you can listen to your precious songs again, or Itunes if you have it.

BQ: Well...every disc we have gets reduced to plastic from the scratches and marks. That makes me sad whenever a Depeche Mode disc refuses to play. :(
