To me to protect yourself is a defensive maneuver not an offensive one, when some lashes out agianst a defensless unarmed civilian and hurts them is the worst way possible than try to deny hurting that person it's not protecting yourself anymore it's breaking tje law of humanity, in my opinion your not human anymore.
