Who would you keep? David Otiz or Alfonso Soriano.?

Have Pujols for 1b and enough outfielders. Need to cut one and pick up a pitcher.

I'd keep ortiz over soriano.......red sox are filled with injuries, so they have to play ortiz....soriano could be in/out of the lineup with playing time going to colvin, nady, byrd, fukudome in the outfield. both are streaky players, but ortiz has a better chance to put up good numbers. ortiz is solid for rbi's, walks, runs, homers.....more so than soriano, who bats down in the order. ortiz bats 3rd for the red sox, a team that scores a lot of runs. pedroia will be back eventually, batting in front of ortiz...that helps.

If you look at it this way David Ortiz is on a good team that means they will usually get a lot of players on base. This will result in more RBI's. Second David Ortiz is known to get on big hot streaks which he has been productive this year. The reason to cut Alfonso is because he is on a team who isn't as good as the Red Soxs. So if I were you I would cut Soriano to get a starter.

i would definitely drop Ortiz.......Ortiz is still hitting under .200 against lefties......not crazy about either one of these guys, but i Sorianno is more valuable right now......
