It's okay, no one has filed the 2010 Tax return yet! it is not due to be filed until next year, because we don't have our w2 for 2010.

But if you have not filed your 2009 tax return then do so now, it don't forget to use Sch M to figure the Making work pay credit.

Processing at this time could take 6-12 weeks and you will receive your refund as soon as IRS has processed your return. Make sure to use your current address on the return, don't forget to sign the return, if you are filing by mail and want your refund to be direct deposit include a voided check with your return to have your refund direct deposited.

    good luck

Nor has anyone else file for 2010.

You are likely speaking of the 2009 return and you may file anytime within three year of the filing date and still get a refund if one is due. If you file electronically, which is still available until Oct. 15th, you should seen the refund within 2 weeks or sooner with direct deposit. A paper return will take 3 to 4 weeks.

Your 2010 tax return isn't due until 4/15/2011, and you can't file it before January 2011.

I assume you really mean your 2009 return, the one that was due in April 2010. If you efile and request direct deposit, you should get your refund quickly, less than 2 weeks, if nothing is questioned.

neither has anyone else, 2010 is not over yet

if you are referring to your 2009 income tax return, of course, if you are due a refund you will get it after you file your return, certainly not before
