Can you suggest a music editing software that is professional standard but free?

We have tried Audacity, Fruity loops 9 and linux multimedia software. none have worked well.

Any other suggestions?

Getting a professional standard music editing software that's free might be difficult. The best free one (in my opinion) is GarageBand, although it's only for Mac. Audacity is my second favorite.

Try TrakAxPC. I used it once. It's very similar to GarageBand.

It includes the Pro features for 30 days, but you get the standard one free forever.
