There are actually quite a few in the Bay Area. However, they aren't cheap! Besides the standard slip prices, most add an additional $250 for "Live Aboard" privileges. Then they add the cost of "Metered" utilities (electrics, water and phone). Along with this you'll be required to have sewer hookups. Then they add special rules and regulations to your "Live Aboard" contract. You break those and they have the right to evict you. Costs are based upon the size of the vessel plus $250 amd utilities. Look at San Leandro Marina, Embarcadero Cove, Emery Cove, Berkeley Marina, Sausalito Marinas, Richmond Marina, Alameda Marina, Coyote Point and SF Marina for openings. Some may be on a "First Come, First Served" bases and have limited availability.

Anyone reading this: Coyote Point is currently and has always been NO LIVEABOARD. Three nights a week maximum and the rules & regs page suggests that this is usually the weekend.
Many people will tell you they are sneak aboards , but you run the risk of being evicted and with no where to go.
