Can you be President of the United States if you were born in a US territory in another country?

Like if you were born from a military family on a military base in Germany or Korea for instance.

    Yes. If your parents are government employees overseas on government business you can still be a citizen.

    To answer your question, yes. If you were born on an american military base then you are still a natural born citizen and can be president. John McCain was born in Panama on a millitary base.

    Barry Goldwater was born in the Arizona Territory before it became a state and republicans nominated him in 1964.

    Yes, John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone but he could still have become president.

    Yes you can. You can also be President if you were born in Kenya and your mother was a resident of Hawaii before that meant you were guaranteed automatic citizenship.... well, actually you can't technically, but hey I guess our current President is above that law.
