Why is ESPN already hyping the Cowboys and Dez Bryant?

The Cowgirls haven't done anything in the last 15 years and ESPN is hyping up the Cowgirls and predicting another Chargers vs Cowboys Superbowl. Is it just me or has the pre-season Superbowl pick been San Diego vs Dallas since 2006? Didn't Dallas get destroyed by the Vikings last season? Why are they the favorites to win the Superbowl all of a sudden?

Also now there hyping Dez Bryant to be the next Jerry Rice when he hasn't even played a NFL game yet. Also not to mention the fact he missed the entire 2009 NCAA season.

So why is ESPN hyping up the Cowboys again? They haven't proven anything despite being the favorites to win the Superbowl or at least the NFC for the last 4 seasons. For the past few years they have just been a great team on paper but haven't showed it on the field.

Everyone is hyping everything that has to deal with the Cowboys right now. I am not saying this b/c I'm a die hard Skins Fan, but I think everyone is way over there head with the Cowboy talk. They did the same thing last season calling them the front runner Super Bowl contenders. What makes this off season different from then? People say they didn't lose anything this off season, they gained. But I look at there roster and see a glaring holes at Left Tackle, bad safeties, and I still think their receiving crew is questionable. Look at it.

They have a one year wonder in Miles Austin...Can he repeat?

They have a inconsistent Roy Williams

They have a guy that reminds me off the field of a guy that they just released two years ago in T.O.

I think they will have problems with Dez either way. Whether he lives up to the hype or not. If he becomes successful, I want to see how he handles himself off the field. Will he continue working hard at improving his craft? Or will he become lazy? Because, from what I saw with his combine, one thing T.O does well is he is a VERY hard worker. No one is more of a workout warrior than Terrell Owens. Terrell wasn't always T.O, he didn't come out of college being the best Receiver. Terrell has always played with a chip on his shoulder. I think all this talk may fill Dez's head up.

Chargers? Are you kidding me? It'll almost assuredly be the Jets. Just look at their roster and say it will be the Chargers. The NFC is wide open, and I believe the Saints, Vikings, and Cowboys to be the favorites. I personally believe the Eagles can actually improve from last year and challenge for the NFC East, and Green Bay has a stunning QB. My pick is Jets vs. Vikings. Adrian Peterson will learn to stop fumbling and by the end of the season will have perfect his new running style the Vikings runningback coach is trying to implement for more quality yards.

What else would you expect? Makes for good story. Dez(you know the story) , break out star Austin, timer Williams and what you get? Cowboys winning it all. Yes I left out Romo. I'm with 22 on that one. All hype but can you go wrong if you are ESPN? They are America's Team...Right
