Have you ever had a Paranormal experience?

one saturday morning many years ago i took a ride in my car, very normal, next thing you know i was waking up in the car. the car was in tall grass totally obscured from the road, the left side of my left knee felt like it was burning. the car started right up, i backed it out of the grass and looked at the time, 6 hours had passed, i got out of the car and felt the hood it was cold, the car had been shut off quite awhile. then i looked around and realized i don`t know where i am. i got back in the car and thought i`ll go that way, i made a left and i was able to drive home no problem from somewhere i had never been. it took between an hour to 90 min. to get home. when i got home i undressed to look at my knee and there was a small cut and it was scabbed over, but i didn`t have it when i left home for the ride i took. the next two weekends i tried to find that place but i could not. i never did drugs and that was about 2 years before i ever set foot in a bar. this happened 1973.

A few actually. I'm still a bit of a skeptic but I'm starting to believe that not all things can be explained. Like when I was little and we first moved into my house, I used to sleep with the lights on the first two years and sleep with the door open because nearly every night I would hear someone coming up and down the stairs. And that's all. It was so constant (like they would walk up, then down, then back up and stop) that there was no way it could have been any family members (and there were only two other people in the house). Also, in middle school I used to work backstage for a lot of school functions and I was always running back and forth behind the curtains (which were pretty dark and narrow) and one day I heard this step and a ragged breath brush right behind my neck. No one was there and I did some research at the library and found out that while they were building the auditorium there had been a really bad fire. And there was an old asylum that was recently taken down that my brother's friends and some of my friends had broken into (they took it down because too many teenagers were trespassing, go figure) and my brother's friends heard some screams down the hallway on the top floor and my friends claimed to have seen a guard. There are so many stories involving that place, it's insane.

About 3 years ago when I was ten. I was at my friends house and we were sitting on the sign at the front of their neighborhood. Well, I went to check on dinner and of course I had to walk alone in the dark. So I decided to take the three dogs with me. As I look back there seemed to be a white figure in the road. I had no clue what it was. I couldn't help but stare though. Then a car passed by and it disappeared. I am very serious that happened though. I've had many more the past few months, like when I was at my friends house and stuff started moving on it's own. Like plates were on the counter the next time we went into the kitchen and the fridge kept opening on it's own. I'm freaking terrified of my friends house now.

I have had a few different experience with ghosts. At the time this happend i never ever heard of shadow people. I was sleeping and i woke up at 4 am, The ligths in my room and hallway were turned on and my door was open, al this happend when i was asleep, i felt sick for some reason and i had the feeling that there was another person in the room and i watched the wall and i saw a hooded figure floating on my wall, it went to the hallway and it came back trough the corner of my room, i was 10 or 11 years old so i was scared to death. At a certain moment it stopped and i didnt sleep that nigth because i was scared that the shadow men would come back.

Ah, I am from the south and I grew up being told ghost stories. I am a moderator in a group that is involved in the paranormal. That is how much I enjoy it. I have seen a few ghost in my time, including a little ghost dog who lived in my sister's house. I am not psychic thankfully. I saw something as a child that my parents thought may have been a UFO, but who can say what it was. I think that Parapsychology is fascinating, and far less respected than it should be. There are nut jobs in any Field though, and especially in this one.

I have had a few from a young age up until recently.

I guess those who have not seen will not believe and this is the only reason why I do believe.

I've seen a few different types of beings and I guess you can say you do get used to it.

They haven't scared me at all, apart from one which was sitting and watching me as I was reading in bed. I turned around and saw a man there. He disappeared in no time.

I've seen spirits other people have seen, so I know it's not a hallucination.

I've seen poltergeist activity and that was quite scary. Simply a £1 sitting on top of a computer tower flinging itself across the room. I was with a friend at the time. She had mentioned this happened earlier. There was a lot of energy in her house.

Also, working in a nursing home, you hear/see a lot of this stuff happening.

There is a place in my hometown that is called Sunnyside and as kids in high school we use to hang out in the subdivision because it was safe and remote. There is one way in and one way out - both streets that cross railroad tracks. Because it is a rather small town, everyone knew of the woman who died on the railroad tracks and we all knew of the stories that if you went to the tracks at the time she was killed, you could see her on the tracks. We happened to be out in the area and it was a full moon so you could see a distance down the tracks. Some of us were skeptics and some were believers. I don't know why, but I was one of the ones that saw her walking along side the tracks. She was dressed in a raincoat, just as she had been the night she died. And then when the silence was broken, she disappeared. This is the incident that caused me to have an new perspective about possibilities that I had previously disregarded..

Edit: @ Maggie - after rereading this, I am assuming that this happened in broad daylight...and you were alone. You are one brave soul.

Well.

This one time, I was with my friend Nicole & Ashley both had used the wedgie board that day but i had'nt. I told them they were stupid for using it.

When i came home it was about 7:30. I kept hearing noises but thought nothing of it.

Then i heard like..a Growl.

I was afraid and felt uneasy. It got really cold in my room. So i threw overs on me and just went to sleep at about 9-9:30..But something happened and all of a sudden i wasnt dreaming anymore.

I felt like i was falling and something wasnt letting me breathe. or move. I tried to scream but i couldnt my eyes were closed because i didnt want to open them, But i still saw a face. It was red and it smiled. Then it went away. I woke up and i jumped out of my bed.

After that day strange things have happened. But nothing as strange.

Im not sure if this is paranormal?? What do u think.

I've never actually seen anything, but in our previous house when I was about 13 when I felt a hand on top of my own. Then a couple of months later while I was laying in bed, my backside and stomach suddenly felt warm as if someone were laying next to me with their arm on my stomach. Now I've just grown used to it, besides after a while it starts to feel comforting.

Yeah i had a some what experience like the movie paranormal activity. Like the girl says she saw a dark figure at the end of her bed but never her sisters. But the same thing happend to me except it was on the end of my sisters bed and it looked like more of a person then a dark figure. And when i went closer to it , it kind of turned, looked at me and disappeared.
