Question for website gurus?

I recently started a website. I still have A LOT more work to do, but I was just wondering when I would start getting traffic. I have great SEO skills and quality articles posted. You can see for yourself (www.how2quest.com). I will be posting hundreds upon hundreds more in the months to come... but I am SOOOO curious as to when it's all going to pay off. I can't get ad clicks with 1 person visiting my site each day!

well ads will come in later. you should get enough of the site done to start inviting people. Once you do, invite your friends. If they like it, they'll tell other friends and word will just spread. Just remember, as long as the site's running, it isn't complete.

When you do think you're ready, google.com has a link at the bottom of their page to get you listed. once you fill out the form, "spiders" will scan your site (scan not access, it won't count as a view) and within a week or 2, it will start to show up on google search engines.

Search engines are will you will get 15% of your traffic at first, but later on, you can start creating ads on google adwords. what ever you do, do not advertise on myspace... i stopped trusting them a long time ago.

You have to be able to fill a niche. From what I can tell from your site, you're just another WikiHow or eHow site. I don't think you'll ever be popular with your current model. You'll need to write content that doesn't already exist, or content that can present itself better than current methods.

You do not have great SEO skills. Look at your source code dude, you're not even trying.
