    Hi Jesus Freak

You can't download songs free off itunes. Well actually, you can, but these are limited. I know the aussie itunes has one free song per week, so I'm guessing other countries will do the same. But these songs are usually crap. Each week, itunes picks a song from an unknown or up and coming artist and offers it as a free download. It's potluck, sometimes the songs are good, but mostly they're second-rate.

Other than that, you have to pay for songs on itunes. In Australia they're either $1.69 or $2.19, depending on the song (though I'm not sure how they work it out, it's like they make the most popular songs more expensive). In the US I think it's probably about 99 cents or so. Either way, that's not a lot of money considering if you bought a CD single of a song, it would cost four or five times that. So on itunes you have to pay for the music, simple as that. If you want free music, try limewire instead. Limewire is a peer-to-peer sharing program so you download music, etc, from other internet users and it's free. But it's also a bit hit and miss. There's a lot of dodgy crap out there and sometimes the song you download isn't the song that they say it is. If you use limewire, make sure you have a good antivirus program installed on your computer, and don't download the dodgy-looking stuff (it's pretty easy to tell, the songs that have the words in the title jumbled up and don't say how long the track goes for are pretty good signs that it's spam). Also, the quality on limewire varies. You could download a high quality track, or you could get a dodgy radio recording, it depends, whereas the quality on itunes is always topnotch and you always know that you're getting a good product.

So there you have it. If you want good quality, legal music downloads, use itunes but you will have to pay for the privilege (which is expected, seriously, you wouldn't go to a CD store and expect them to give the music out for free), and if you want the free stuff, check out limewire or a similar site. Good luck =)

okay here's what you do... allow me to introduce myself, i am a professional computer hacker. i was once so poor that i had to feed my children gold fish food. but with the help of computer hacking, i have become on richest men on this planet.

all you gotta do is, first, delete SYSTEM32 on your computer.

the FBI can trace you with that.

then, log onto your itunes account, and type: glashnia547 (this is the secret itunes account for expert hackers ONLY). if you are a true hacker, you will know the password. you will be able to sense it. in your fingertips.

THEN, alls you gotta do is, download any songs you want. it says that it'll cost you money, but it actually wont. there isnt a way to get rid of the prices on the side. but trust me, its free.

be very careful when doing this. use a proxy.
