Has anyone ever tried powder cinnamon..?

The stuff that comes out of a bottle like seasoning? Have you ever put it on a table/tea spoon and put it in your mouth and tried to swallow it? If so what was your reaction? I started coughing and couldn't breathe until I got water and rinsed my mouth out. Have you tried to swallow it and go a minute without water or something else to drink?

I have never taken a whole spoonful, but I put some on my finger and tasted it. It seems completely normal for you to have a reaction like this, check the first link below...

Don't try to snort wasabi!!! check out the second link...

A lot of cinnamon today doesn't even come from the cinnamon tree or plant bark. Instead it comes from a plant of the Genus, "Cassia". If the bark is ground finely, it creates cinnamon powder which effectively resists being absorbed by water, so if you keep it in your mouth, it will take a long long time to dissolve in your saliva to where it's no longer a powder. So, it's no wonder that you might have choked on it. Place some into water and see how long it takes to be absorbed.

By far, the best, and freshest cinnamon I have ever used comes from Penzey's Spices online.

I just tried it but was not possible, you can not do it as simple as it, it is like to get a Jalapeno, ha ha ha nasty flavor alone.

    Thanks
