Depending on what type of class here's some ideas. You could always combine these.
Cardio- Do a lot of running, agility moves. We have done a course that includes stairs into a flat run over and over for about 20-30 minutes. We also do things like ladders, and lunges with weights.
Core- Plenty of workouts here. My favorites are 'Superman', Bridge, crunches, and push ups. If you want more challenge, use exercise balls under you feet to help with balance.
Jumps- We work on spinners to work on snapping the hips and air position. We do walkthroughs and landings along with dry land jumps.
Spins- lots of spinners work. Also work on entrances and exits.

Out of all of the classes my rink offers, most of the skaters agree that the combination classes are the most beneficial. We have one class that is called cardio/flexibility/core/strength/plyometrics. It is truly a combination of all of these aspects. We usually warm up with jumping jacks, lunges, etc and then will run stairs, do off ice Axel knee kicks, grapevines, etc. After this we do a lot of yoga/ballet stretching. Then we will do circuit training including yoga balls, foot stretchers, off ice spins/spirals on 1/2 circle foam blocks, 1 and 2 pound weight lifting, off ice jumps, etc. It's a great workout and you will definitely feel it in the morning. Good luck with your class!
