leopard geckos pupil is all the way dilated (black) ?

my leopard geckos eyes are all black! like no yellow eye like i used to see!

at first i didnt know what was wrong so i explained the situation to someone at the reptile store where i bought him. they said his eyes are just fully dilated and feeding him crickets instead of just mealworms would be healthier. SO, how many circkets do i feed him? i used to feed him 6 or 7 but is that too many? im thinking 3 or 4? also how do i get my leopard geckos eye back to normal?!

I answered about the eye on your other question, as for feeding crickets, it really depends on how big the gecko is, if it's an adult or sub-adult you can feed him a few 6 or 7 sound about right, if it's a baby or juvenile 4 or 5 is more appropriate, you just want to be careful he doesn't eat too much and throw them up, also make sure you watch him eating the crickets to ensure he can see them, if he is having an eye issue and you just leave the crickets in he might not be eating them because he can't see them.
