What should I do if I'm being verbally harassed?

I was walking my dog today, and this woman who owns an antique store called Flea in Los Angeles (http://www.thefleastore.com)/ comes out of her store and screams at me when I'm half a block away that I am a terrible person because I should put my dog to sleep. My dog is old (19 years old!) and has arthritis, but the vet says she's healthy. Everyone else in the neighborhood loves my dog, but this woman is crazy! Of course I'm not going to put her down because of this woman, but it's very disturbing that she would do this. Any suggestions?

 You give her the same look in the picture and say the same thing as well.

EDIT: It was a picture of a guy giving somebody else a look as if they were being funny and the words "oh you!" were on the picture as well.

whats really the problem is the dog being a nuisance to her, destroying her property is he just ugly, do he look in pain?  just ask her
