Poll: Ipad vs Laptop?

Laptops. More memory, more disk space. Multi-threading (say, chatting on AIM while browsing the internet). Free programs (unlike Apple's app store).

I really like my ipad. It's awesome, and perfect to do all kinds of creative stuff on. However, it is just for play. For school and work, I still use my laptop. It just does the things I simply cannot do on my iPad (although I'd love to try out my cad design program I use for jewelry design at work on the iPad, that would be beyond awesome) If you trying to get an iPad to replace the functionality of a computer you will be sorely disappointed. However, if you want a cool gadget with cool apps and don't need something functional, go with the iPad for sure!

laptops are better..normal ones. i wouldn't get a touchscreen laptop... i'm happy with my normal lap top that i just got half a year ago. touchscreen would be more expensive and it's not going to make anything on it any easier; it's a waste of money.

depends what the storage is for. music and videos? ipad. but if it were to sync to an ipod, laptop.

id go with laptop (not a touch screen laptop)

Depends on what your main use is going to be. But i say laptop all the way.

I prefer laptops, you have a better choice for application, games, allot more storage capability. and it's easier to type on a laptop then a iPad.

well laptop will definitely fulfill all my requirements... so laptop
