Is there another option to Qwest phone service?

I am looking for an ISP for my internet connection without going through Qwest! Is there another way to accomplish this or do I NEED phone service with Qwest? I live in Albuquerque, NM, USA

Update:

I was looking for another provider that is licensed to use a phone line other than Qwest.

It would appear that Comcast, Time Warner, and Suddenlink serve the Albuquerque area. Cable broadband internet service is generally faster for the price than DSL.

Cellular companies have modems that connect to the computer, either as a card or via USB, and most offer 3G speeds.

If you look in the phone book under Internet Service Providers I'm sure you will find many options.
