Unless you're a seasoned golfer, it's pretty difficult to fix your slice on your own. The problem is, you will see a host of videos/advice , some of which may apply to you, but some of which might not.
Meaning, you could have more than one thing wrong with your swing. You see a video that fixes one thing, but not the other things. You don't see the results you want, so you just assume that wasn't what was wrong to begin with, and you abandon it.
Or, you might hear advice that would help some people or swing-types, but doesn't necessarily apply to you. For example, maybe people will say 'try to keep a more inside-to-outside swing to prevent slicing'. But if you're already swinging inside-to-out properly, trying to swing MORE inside-to-out won't solve anything. And if you begin practicing the wrong things and ingraining these bad swing techniques, you are just compounding the problem.
Basically what I'm saying is we can give you some 'ideas' as to why you are slicing, but your best bet is to see a professional so he can look at your specific swing and let you know what you aren't doing properly.
With that said, here are some things to look for:
1. Always check your grip, club/feet/shoulder alignment, and ball-position before messing with anything else.
2. Focus on one-piece-takeaway.
3. Don't dip your lead shoulder on back-swing (unless you're doing stack and tilt).
4. Begin your swing with your feet, legs, and hips. Let your arms lag behind.
5. Downswing on an inside-to-out path, then release properly through the ball.

If you do not have a video cam use a full length mirror and watch what happens in your swing for yourself. Having said that, you need to re route your swing path, it is currently on an out to in passage back to the ball. Unfortunately this swing line particularly with driver, will slice when you try to give the shot a bit extra. This is because the swing parameters set at address are stretched and this causes your right arm to straighten before impact. Try to monitor your line of takeaway and feel like you come back into the ball on a line inside of that delivering the clubhead on a more in to out swingline. Good luck with it.

Hitting a slice is a result of improper technique, and chances are not something you can fix on your own if you haven't done so already.
