How do you stop the toilet tank from leaking?
The tank seems to refill itself every half hour or so.

Turn the water off to the toilet. There should be a small water shut-off valve below the left side of the toilet tank. Turn the valve's handle clockwise to close it and stop the water. Carefully remove the toilet tank lid and set it aside on a bath towel. Flush the toilet. Remove the rubber flapper or seal from the flush valve in the center of the toilet tank. Take the part with you to the hardware store so that you can find the best replacement. If you have the toilets warranty information, you may be able to call the manufacturer and get the replacement parts free.

Hi! I can help ya!
Take the tank cover off the tank. Look down to the center/bottom and you'll see a round rubber
seal, sometimes called the"flapper" (red/green/black). Your water is leaking through and under that seal because it isn't seating properly. For now push it down in place so it seals. Now you know what to do until you replace it. For now, you can "jiggle" the handle til it is replaced. Any hardware store carries this part. Good Luck!
