Why log out if there's nothing to steal I care about?

I have been at 4 or 5 sites for years..and I just thought, I have been so careful,

Why worry? why log out?

I have left nothing anywhere thats of any value..except they could pretend to be me ..except my pals would know its not me...so why log out?

is it a danger? and why?

Well you don't have if your argument is there's nothing to steal, however cleaning your history every once in a while can speed your internets speed, and with that then you'll have to re-login. If it's one of those chatting things and you've information that is unharmful then dont worry about it (like AIM or Yahoo, of Facebook-if you didnt fill out all the rubbish like address/tele- and so on)

Staying logged in allows a hacker time to get into your computer. While YOU may not have anything to lose, your friends who get hacked from your computer will lose...like any credit card info or passwords to sites that they have in THEIR computers. Since the hacking will come thru your computer, their system will not reject it since you both communicate regularly. So...log out when you're not using the site and reconnect when you do want to use it.
