Would SHAQ agree to:

play back up role? (he had issue/s with Bynum)

veteran minimum salary?

let Kobe run the show and get all the credits?

NO QUESTION he is a good fit to the LAKERS. It's been proven w/ 3peat champs.

But coming back to L.A will mess up the chemistry of the team and bring out old issues.

can contribute 15 good min, and it is a good back up

for bynum in case Bynum is hurt. plus Bynum can learn

alot from Shaq.

after Laker 3-peat, Shaq can announce his retirement

on the top of his career (winning 5th Ring) and have his

jersey hanged next to Magic, along with Phil Jackson.

he and Kobe can also patch things up.

LA still loves Shaq, and he will be welcomed in LA.

First they wouldn't because he would be a detriment to team morale. That's why he left in the first place! Second, he wants too much money. Something like 4 mil which the Lakers cannot give him even if they wanted to. Lastly, he's a liability. He still can't shoot free throws and injury proned.
