Where is a good place in Cancun Mexico to take kids for some fun they don't know how to swim?

Wet and Wild is water oriented park but it has activities in the water but not all swimming.All beaches are public in the country of Mexico. Cancun has beautiful beaches but I think¨Playa Del Carmen just south of Cancun has the best beach. A short bus ride to Playa del Carmen about $3 US every 15 minutes on ADO Bus Service reliable safe and clean. Playa has the famous 5th Av. that runs the whole town full of shops,restaurants, and bars all only 1 block to the beach. The beach has many restaurants to get a bite of Mexican food or your favorite burger and fries!

A trip to the Isla Mujeres an island just east of Cancun a very fun short ferry ride. The isla is walkable has shops, restaurants, and a great beach on the north side of the island. You can rent a golf cart and explore the isla more.

Depending on their ages a trip to one of the ruins is a suggestion. When my son was young it was just rocks to him but than he changed and really liked Tulum. It is a two hour bus trip south of Cancun pass through the towns of Puetro Morelas, Playa Del Carmen, and Pureto Advanturas. To a walled ruin with several old buildings and the most beautiful of the Caribbean Ocean and a gorgeous beach. Bring your bathing suits.

Restaurants along the "Hotel Zone" Isla de Cancun on Kukulcan Blvd. you can find all your favorites and many more depending on your taste. The Hotel Zone is about 11 Km from the town of Cancun and you can take the local bus its more fun and only costs about $1 to find a local restaurant in the downtown area. Yes it is safe just watch your valuables and don't believe that's"it's almost free" or "prices cheaper than Wal-Mart" If you plan to buy something from a street vendor offer at least 80% less of his asking price and never never pay more than 50% of the starting price! Best way to get your price walk away!

Live in Playa Del Carmen

I live here in cancun and you could take your kids to xcaret!! it's a great park!!!

Known as ''nature's sacred paradise'', Xcaret is one of the world's most famous eco-archaeological parks. Here, you will find archaeological ruins, a dolphin show, horses, a farm with tropical birds, butterflies, bat caves and a stunning beach. You can go also snorkeling in the famous caves and the well known underground river. It doesn't matter if the little ones don't know how to swim, since everyone has to wear a life jacket!! It's super-safe, trust me.
