How long after having a hysterectomy can someone see a chiropractor?
My friend had a hysterectomy and hurt her back while farming within two weeks. She isn't sure if she can see a chiropractor so soon after the surgery. Does anyone know how long people are supposed to wait? Do you have a source for your information? Thanks for your help!!

I think it should be fine to see the chiropractor. If she tells him about the surgery, he'll be careful not to hurt her, I'm sure.

Why was she doing farm work 2 weeks after a hysterectomy in the first place? If she is well enough to do that then she shoudl be well enough to go to the chiropractor. She needs to a)tell the chriopractor about the surgery and b) talk to the doctor about all of her activity. She may have done worse damage to her incision site and insides.
