AQHA people, can you help me look up info on a horse?

I put a deposit on a registered QH yesterday and I am terribly excited about getting him.. I hope he passes his vet exam, but I think he will with flying colors! Woo..

Anyway, I believe his registered name (if I remember it right --- should have written it down) is TR's One Good Ole Boy

I know it's defnitely TR's good ole boy and I'm pretty sure it's Tr's One Good Ole' Boy. I don't know if he has any type of information at all with the AQHA, but I'd like to know if anything exists. I know the horse was bred in Iowa and was shown in barrels. I don't know if he's done any AQHA shows, and I don't know much about AQHA showing.

Any info would be awesome. Anything at all. Sorry I didn't think to write down the name of his sire or dam, either.

Duh!

Are you an AQHA member? If you are buying an AQHA horse, you need to join. You'll need to switch him over to your name as owner. I think you can do that if you aren't a member, but joining is worth it. But if you switch him over to your name, AQHA send you his papers. Your best bet for finding info on him is talking to his old owners or people you used to know him. AQHA will record any points he has, and you can look up his records online if you're a member. AQHA showing is SO much fun! This point system is a little confusing for a while (say the first twenty years lol) but once you get the hang of the AQHA world, it's really awesome. Good luck with your new horse!

Might double check the registered name, didn't find anything for any of those names on the AQHA website. Anyway, good luck on the vet check and have fun with him.

If your horse is a grade horse, that means his moms and dads are not registered, or he's a pass among more than one breeds, I might geld him, without reference to how well he's. There are such a lot of stallions to be had for breeding that experience well pedigrees, exhibit files, and so forth. However, in case you particularly like your horse, and wish to exhibit it, you could have plenty of choices. First, there are simply the open exhibit circuits, which might be a ton of a laugh, or if his moms and dads are registered in an arrangement, you maybe equipped to get him registered (like you'll be able to check in a part arab if the opposite mother or father is a QH for illustration). If your man has colour, you'll be able to check in him within the pinto membership, if he matures lower than 14.two fingers, and does not have paint markings, you would attempt to get him registered within the American Pony Club Association, and so forth. I'd ought to recognize extra approximately him as a way to let you know what different choices you could have.
