How much disk space does your Internet Explorer 8 use on your Windows XP?

I'm running XP Service Pack 3 & I'm wondering if it takes up more or less than the ≈28MB that the latest Firefox takes up. I already know IE8 takes up WAY more RAM/memory to run, but what about disk space? . . . Please advise. 8^)

Update:

Thanks so far, guys!

So which browser do you recommend overall then?

The IE would take less than the 28MB. Also, Firefox has been a target of hackers lately. I would not recommend Firefox to anyone as they have 150 employees! that is it! They simply do not have the resources to offer as safe a browser as a Giant such as Microsoft. There have been more apps for Firefox than I can count that have been found to be malicious. Please do not be one of the ones who gets malware because of Firefox.

Around 18.9mb for the file folder and 2mb for the updates folder.

One way to optimize IE8 is to go TOOLS > Manage Add-Ons , and disable all accelerators, Bing searches, Bing Maps, etc etc, stuff you dont need to load everytime IE8 starts, and it will make opening tabs faster , if not faster than firefox, but not as fast as Google Chrome
