Why do I always lose when I gamble?

Probability dictates I should at least win sometimes. So why do I always lose? The only time I win is when I hedge my bets and then I just break even.

Should I quit gambling or should I work on my system?

If you've only played a few times, it's quite normal to lose every time. Also keep in mind that the longer you play, the more likely you are to end down for the night.

Gambling is something that you should do to have fun, not to make money. Keep gambling if you're having fun. Stop gambling if you can't afford it or if you're not having fun.

  • In Gambling people want you to lose. So then you'll come back spend more money to try to win again. It's very addicting and the odds are against you.

Working on your system will not help you as much in saving money.

It's better to just give up, admit defeat, and quit gambling.

    Find a healthier past time.

    Good luck!

Risk taking is a habit of thought, a way of looking at life, a level of self-confidence a person feels and carries as a belief he/she can beat the system, beat the odds, do what's difficult to do by one means or another involving skill, knowledge, recklessnes or some other set of traits he/she believes most others don't share.

In the end, if you gamble at casinos, you will always lose. And the worst part about it, is that if you win, it is sometimes worse than losing. Because, you will be tempted to come back and win again, and in the process lose more. trust me, quit gambling.

If by "system" you mean betting pattern or bet timing, then it makes no difference if you change your system or not. Work on your system if it adds enjoyment to the game, but don't work on it in hopes of finding a way to beat the house.

As mentioned, this doesn't mean you have to quit gambling, if you're having fun and are in control of it. Your luck will probably even out, you'll still mostly lose but you won't lose every time like you have so far.

you neglected to say what game you play -

its a common theory that if one goes to vegas - sometimes lady luck is on your side - and then sometimes you go and pay your dues - or lose your shirt - or sometimes much MUCH worse!

if your a slot player the luck factor is about even - your equally favored or i should say not favored to win - yet its not a huge news bulletin if you do occasionally win

if your a casino game player like dice - or blackjack or roulette - do you know proper strategy ?

do you know how to minimize your losses to give yourself a chance to win? do you know how to leave if your ahead?

if you play exotic games - keno - let it ride - 3 card poker - or any other one you can think of - its not likely you can win and get really lucky - i would just say find a new game

if you are working on a system - depends what for - systems can not beat any casino game - no pattern - style - or stroke of genius can turn a house favored game into a player favored game - math and statistics matter in casino games and no matter how you slice it or what language you translate it into you are favored to lose over time!

systems in sports betting - maybe - but most people who try - claim or proclaim are climbing the wrong ladder.

Keep working! dont bet what you cant afford to lose!

Praying doesnt hurt; then again doesn't do any good.....lol

    Good Luck :)

What kind of gambling are you doing? If you are always going for the long-shot gamble, the odds are definitely against you.

You are right that according to probability you should win but only if you are doing it right, but if you are not playing in accordance with the professional then there is no doubt of your loosing the game. First go learn some tips like http://casinoscorner.com/game-tips for the casino games and then try your luck again. I am sure the results would be better after that.

    Gambling is bad.

You will lose more than win more.
