how to remove wall paper?
Does anyone have any suggestions to get very difficult wallpaper off?
We've tried hot water with fabric softener; wallpaper remover with all the tools and nothing is working very fast. Day two and still don't have a complete wall finished. Possibly been on 20 years. (Now I know why I papered over it 10 years ago)
M i know what you are talking about but thoes were paint stripes i tried the one coat cover but it sucks up the paint in the paper and still shows the groves in the paper. might have to get a steamer..

you have to steam it and start peeling if off, the only way to do it.

It relies upon - 30 years a pass there have been each and every form of suggestions occurring in the paper marketplace. If it is vinyl (or Novamura) dry strip the real layer (it comes off in sheets) and then do away with the backing (if there is any) like difficulty-free paper. for prevalent types you may desire to attempt removing first with water (with a splash detergent to 'moist' the paper greater effective, pass away it to soak and soften the adhesive and then scrape relatively gently with a scraper. Get the soaking time precise and it would be a doddle. in spite of if it is a cleanable form (ie it has like a varnish end) of has been painted over, score with a cord brush earlier soaking to permit the paper. i don't have confidence steamers - in case you do not understand what you're doing you are able to finally end up wrecking the plaster below and detaching the ending coat, if not the best deal, in spite of the shown fact that they are able to be stable for woodchip form papers. whilst think approximately most of the paper off a easy wash down could desire to do away with the relax scraps and paste residue.

you could either get a proffessional to do it, or just paint over it! they have this new paint @ home depot or lowes (forgot) but it was a commercial where the couple had stripes as wallpaper &&the paint/finish or something covered it all!
