It is both a Solid and a Liquid because when it is melted the wax is a liquid, which then solidifies into hardened wax as a solid. But if you are talking about the candle itself it is a solid as it is no longer a candle when melted.

it's both solid and liquid. When it's cooled it's a solid, then when it is heated it's a liquid.
