Downloading update 3.41 for PS3?
First of all, i'm updating my PS3 via PC method (USB Thumb drive)
My PS3 is currently in version 3.30.
I want to update it to version 3.41 but since im updating via PC, do i first need to update it to 3.40 then 3.41 or can i just skip 3.40 and update it to 3.41?
(If i just update it to 3.41 without first updating it to 3.40, will the things included in the 3.40 update be excluded?) Remember, im updating via PC (Thumb Drive)

No, you can skip directly to the latest firmware available. Everything that was added to the previous firmware will be included.
Source(s): I've skipped updates before and when I updated finally, I was fully up to date. Oh and if it matters, I always update via USB (thumb drive)
