birds very rarely get rabies and since your dog has had his shots all is good and fine. as far as the foaming at the mouth this will happen sometimes when the dog comes in contact with certain toads or frogs. they put off a secretion that causes dogs to froth at the mouth. not sure what he could have gotten into but if you take a garden hose and flush out his mouth the foaming will probably stop. keep an eye on him though and if he should begin to exhibit any strange or odd behavior, call your vet and take him to an emergency clinic as soon as possible.

If he is foaming and gagging there is a chance he has something stuck in this mouth/throat etc...
Also could be that he ate something --plant etc... this can also cause foaming.
You need to get it to the veterinarian for a diagnosis.
An animal with rabies can not eat, gets very aggressive etc... after showing symptoms the animal is dead within 10 days.
Most likely is not rabies if your dog has been vaccinated, and has not be bitten.

It's not Rabies. By the time the foaming mouth starts up IF it even does you would have noticed serious behavioral changes in your dog. He may have swallowed something toxic, be suffering heat exhaustion or have an object lodged in his throat. You should go to the vet NOW.

Take your dog to the vet it could be any number of things going on.
Foaming at the mouth does not always mean rabies

take your dog to the vet. Weimaraners are prone to bloat (I have a weimaraner too) and it can be a symptom of it. Your dog should be UTD on shots and not have a chance to get rabies. TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET.

Dude, before diagnosing a fantasy condition, why not phone the vet? Any dog that mouthed a toad would do the same thing, as would any dog who chewed on anything chemical based.
Besides, he's supposed to have had his rabies shot as required by law in every state. He can't get it if he's been vaccinated. Just call your vet.

It sounds like your dog has canine bloat, especially if the developments are that recent. You need to get your dog to an animal hospital right away!!!!
All of the symptoms you describe (restlessness, gagging, foaming) are common symptoms of bloat, which CAN BE FATAL unless you get your dog to the vet right away. It is also especially prevalent in large-chested dogs like weimaraners. Now STOP reading and GO TO THE VET!!!

If your dog is up to date on its rabies vaccines then no, it isn't rabies. It sounds like your dog is choking.

GO TO THE VETS.........
No I don't think it is rabies, but it sounds like something that needs immediate attention. She could have something stuck in her throat.
