It is easy to imagine that heart palpitations can trigger a migraine. Your heart is racing, you feel lightheaded and dizzy, and then your head starts to hurt. The simple answer is that heart palpitations do not cause migraines. What is more likely is that your heart palpitations and migraines are different symptoms of the same affliction.
Heart palpitations and migraines are common symptoms of magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is found in dark, leafy green vegetables, nuts, seeds and chocolate. It can also be purchased as a supplement. Be aware of what kind of magnesium you buy. For example, magnesium oxide is usually less expensive but is not easily absorbed by your body.

Palpitations are very common and normally harmless. It is where you heart skips a beat and then feels like a thud. However this is a medical issue and would highly recommend that you visit your GP to rule out anything serious - All the best x

Hello Maddy,
Palpitations are heartbeat sensations that feel like your heart is pounding or racing. You may simply have an unpleasant awareness of your own heartbeat, or may feel skipped or stopped beats. The heart's rhythm may be normal or abnormal. Palpitations can be felt in your chest, throat, or neck.
Palpitations are usually not serious. However, it depends on whether or not the sensations represent an abnormal heart rhythm. The following conditions make you more likely to have an abnormal heart rhythm:
* Known heart disease at the time the palpitations begin
* Significant risk factors for heart disease
* An abnormal heart valve
* An electrolyte abnormality in your blood
Heart palpitations can be caused by Anemia, Anxiety, stress, fear, Caffeine, Diet pills, Exercise, Fever, Low levels of oxygen in your blood, Heart valve disease etc.
Reducing your caffeine intake will often significantly reduce your heart palpitations. Reducing stress and anxiety can help lessen the frequency or intensity of your heart palpitations
I suggest you to meet a doctor as soon as possible.
Even my mom was facing the same problem and we met a lots of cardiologists but her problem was not resolved. One of my friends suggested me to take a suggestion from Surgeryplanet, which is a global health care facilitator. We contacted them and they suggested some of the very good cardiologists and best hospitals which was very affordable.
So if your problem will not get resolved after taking advice to your local doctor, I suggest you to go with the Surgeryplanet. This will definitely help you.
