Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Did anybody really NOT know this?

One of the front-page stories on Yahoo today is something called "6 Money Habits That Are Illegal." Here's a paragraph from that story:

"Color printers, scanners and copiers make it surprisingly easy for just about anyone to replicate U.S. or foreign currency. But it is, in fact, illegal to print your own money and try to spend it to buy goods or services."

So what they're saying is that counterfeiting is illegal.

Is it just me, or does this come as a surprise to absolutely nobody?

Do the people who write these so-called informative articles for Yahoo think we're total idiots? Or do they really think that this sort of information is actually helpful to us?

In case you want to see the whole article, complete with other revelations such as it's not a good idea to write checks for more than you have in your account, you can waste your time reading it here:
