What do you think of the name Ryder?

I think its a cool name. It's been gaining popularity recently but is still not even in the top 100 i don't think. That's part of the reason why i like it is because it's unique and sounds cool. It is absolutely NOT a girls name. The name even sounds masculine and i can tell that people are going to try and force this one to be unisex like they have others. But it's a cool boys name and you won't have to worry about too many other boys with the same name like Jacob, Ethan, etc.

Ryder is better for a boy. It's just OK for me. It reminds me of Alex Ryder (hence why I think it's best for a boy.)

It's a surname not a first name and Ryder for a girl will have all kinds of embarrassing implications during her school life so is best avoided.

I think you should use it as a boy's name. I don't really care for it but it could be someones name in the future. The first thing I though of when I saw this was Strider from the Lord of the Rings. lol.

I like it for a boys name. It's good.

I don't really care for it, but I would definitely use it on a boy, NOT a girl. I don't think it's a stupid name or anything, just not my taste.
