Have a Upromise account?

I've been a Upromise member since 2001 and have found it to be a great way to save for College. I've saved over $4,000 and have shopped with more than a hundred of their different partners. You can shop online, or in retail or grocery stores. They even have their own credit card that gives you 1% back on everything you buy. It's not something you can do passivley or you'll end up with $10. But if you think about what you're buying and make a small effort to check Upromise first, you can easily earn a few hundred dollars a year.

I don't know that I know much about it but I do have a upromise account and registered credit cards and guest cards. I think I'm up to about $40 so I don't know that you really earn that much unless you pay close attention to where you are shopping. I think if you usually go to Mobil gas stations you get a decent amount there, but here in central Illinois there aren't alot of participants. Good luck! It doesn't generate much money but I'm willing to take what I can get, particularly since I'm going to use the account to repay my student loans. I wouldn't use it as a primary source of saving for college, but since it doesn't require much effort after you set things up I'm fine with that. I will say that I have been the most successful as far as "earning" money through it when doing on-line shopping through the Upromise site.

We have a upromise account,no problems so far and have had it for 2 years.Sent it to family and friends and you will be surprized how quick it adds up. I do almost all my Christmas shopping online so it works out great

I have some credit cards, grocery store cards, drug store cards on file with them. When you use your loyal customer mini cards for groceries or gasoline the rebate is automatically given to the Upromise account.

I have about $225.00 saved in it. I recommend it.
