1.Okay so you have to finish you book completely, edit it, cut out unnecessary characters until you can't stand it any longer. Make sure the story follows, edit it until your pages have holes in them.

Agents get thousand of emails and letters a day asking why their book should be published. Look on the web at bad queries and great ones. There are format rules you must follow. Some agents will request the first 5 pages, Do not send more or less. Queries should be different depending on the style the agent likes look them up.

3. Get an agent. Agents will help sell your books to publishers, they get thousand of querys a day. They look for mistakes to make their job easier so they can throw your papers away.
