What sims 2 expansion pack should I get ?

I have both and to be honest both are good

Nightlife:

The great things I like about nightlife is that you get to go out!!! Like you have so much choices to choose from. For example my sim family goes bowling, goes to night clubs, and dines out. Another plus with Nightlife is the fact that you have cars. I love the fact that you have cars and its real cool. Nightlife also gives you the ability to become a vampire, which is cool. A sim also gets to date, which is fun for teen sims looking for mister right <3 (I make my teen sims go on dates with her boyfriend :] )

Nightlife also has cool stuff such as Karaoke Machine, Photo Booth, Poker Table, and etc.

Apartment Life:

I was surprised I liked it. It makes sims less boring to play because your not stuck in a lot by your self, you get to interact with other sims, which can be good or bad. (My sim cheated on his wife with the neighbor)

It interesting too because sometimes you get stuck with a BAD neighbor and they can be loud, which will make sleeping hard for a sim.

Apartment Life comes with a new neighborhood called Bellacove something...idk I forgot the name lol.

The apartments are divided so that the ugly cheap ones are on the bottom, and the high end ones are on the hills. I like that. You can also visit neighbors too, and it also has a lapdog. So a sim can adopt a house dog and can play/hold it. You can also have a roommate by putting a ad for one or calling,but if you don't keep them happy they may move out or not pay rent. And you can't control the roommate.

The cool thing about Apartments are witches (there good and bad ones). It's interesting because you can turn into one and cast spells on sims you don't like >:)

The witches travel from broomsticks.

New things are being able to brush your teeth, jump rope, vending machines, and kid sims can showoff and do cartwheel, summer salts, and things like that.

If I had to choose I would pick Nightlife and maybe later one buy Aartmentlife.
