Pharmacy techs are not licensed to administer medications or to do invasive procedures. RN's and LPN's are legally authorized give injections, or of course Physicians. If the flu clinic were taking place on a military base, then military medics could administer flu shots as well. Pharmacy techs can transport medications, but they can't administer them. Not even an aspirin tablet.

No, techs do not practice pharmacy. Pharmacists, if they have taken and passed a course, can administer a flu shot.

Iam a medical assistant we are trained to give injections and meds also. In the state of Ga medical assistants can do a lot where iam at.

they sell the drugs so they should be able to administer them (watch your caps lock)
