Why is google chrome not working?

I used to use google chrome all the time because i found it a lot better than internet explorer.. however for the past 3 or 4 days i can't get on to google chrome as it says 'this web page is not available.' Does anyone know why this could be? It worked perfectly before.

Update:

My internet connection is fine and it says its 'Error 10'

[Edit] A) Uninstall and reinstall your Antivirus. It's a product of Google Chrome that had been updated that your Antivirus may block! Well the best way to sort out this issue is to check the firewall of your anti virus program no matter what be the antivirus program just check the firewall and in firewall check the program list in which google chrome might be blocked or outgoing and for that just give it a full access:

    1. Click on Firewall>Settings

    2. Click on Program Permissions

    3. Click Google Chrome & the Delete button

    4. Click the Add button

    5. Browse for the Google Chrome.exe file (it should be in your User folder>App Data>Local>Google>Chrome>Application

    6. Add the program and Viola - good as new

    B) If you have PeerGuardian, Peerblock, ZoneAlarm: just turn it off. Load Google Chrome, then allow your Firewall. And it will work!

Source(s): Google Chrome user. By the way, it is faster and safer than Firefox as it uses a sandbox and in PCAnswers was considered to be the best Web Browser!

Well, its happened to me a few times before, it was probably just an error, but what I did was highlight the address and pressed enter twice and it worked
