Top 5 annoying things about teenagers?

ohh HEY!! we aren't ALL like that... i'm not.

EDIT: I'll throw in some that i notice though. I'm pretty much the odd one at school cause teens these days are stupid.

1. Drugs and partying is #1 on their checklist.

2. getting girls pregnant are apparently "points". Then the guy leaves the girl forever. Niiiice job.

3. don't do homework. Expect people like me to do it for them. but Hey, i'll do it and write all the wrong answers down... their choice ;)

4. ATTITUDE!!! Man, if i talked to people like the way kids at my school do, i would get pulled out of the college i'm wanting to go to!

5. labels labels labels! EVERYTHING seems to be a freaking label!

as you can see, i'm fighting my way through this hell called high school.

Im going into tenth grade and so far... yea it sucks.

Kids here thinks that every problem is the end of the ****** world, every facebook album is girls trying to show off to guys that their breast grew half an inch. People change A LOT. They start smoking weed, they fail grades, innocents turn into whores, theres actully a poem written on how teenagers chage. http://www.writers-network.com/index.cgi?view=8236... . Pretty good poem. It's just looking from afar, they think theyre on top of the world and everything. These four years will be their best years. They wont go to University, have shitty jobs, and talk about how great highschool was. I dont want to be those people. I luckily have a great group of friends. Im working on my dream at the moment and it doesnt involve being a professional skateboarder, or actor, or super model. I work hard at something else, fact is they dont work hard at their dreams either, like they expect it to fall in their lap. That's what I always thought, until I opened up my eyes. I cant wait for University, no drama, no dumbasses, parties every week, only have to pass. Those'll be the days, right now, Im just working hard. These four years will go by quickly, and when they do, all the idiots will drop out and regret it all, and I'll sail onto success, with 100x as much fun as they had in highschool.

1. They think no one has ever hurt like they do, adults just can't understand.

2. They think their styles are fresh (not just mixes of the 40's thru 60's)

3. They get all that sweet young stuff legally.

4. With a few exceptions they have absolutely no taste in music.

5. They can drive, Twitter, find a song on an iPod, put on makeup, and tell their latest OMG stories to their passengers all at the same time. But haven't figured out the mysterious workings of a clothes hamper!

We are rude to public and we set forests on fire and leave liquor bottle around everywhere at elementary schools because that's where we party :)

You are pretty much stating in your reasons that many of us stereotype. Well this is true we make fun of each other but most the stereotyping now-a-days goes towards 'Scene' kids but they are the ones mostly obnoxious and rude in public shouting absurd things to pedestrians...

I've been reading most of peoples reasons and there are many teens out there that are down to earth with nature, many straight edge kids that don't smoke weed and are fun. Maybe you guys have not found good friends and crowds to place yourselves in :D.

I don't think its very fair for you to generalize all teens like this. In fact, its kind of hypocritical of you to do so. You're saying they judge you, but you're judging teens as a whole and saying that they're the judgemental ones. I know, high school can be hard, but you can't let the mean ones get to you. There are tons of good people, teens, out there, and willing to be a friend! Don't worry what the other ones think, you won't see them after high school anyways. Best of luck girl! :)

- Everyone falls into some kind of label, no matter what

- They are just retarded (some teenage girl i met today thought college happened when you turn 27 yrs old)

- Obsession with dating

- friends are everything that matters

- The most important thing in their lives is where the next party is

The ones who think they have life figured out

The ones who have a huge sense of entitlement

The ones who will use the word "creepy" for just about everything.

The ones who only listen to indie music

The ones who don't care about anything

Of course this can apply to older people, but I've seen it a lot in young people.

- when you're hanging out with a friend at your/their house and all you do is talk, watch movies, and go online.

- friends who leave you to try to become more popular. (the whole point of being popular is having everyone like you, which doesn't work so well when you shun them)

- if you like pink or dresses you're a ditsy, girly wanna-be.
