The horse I ride is an OTTB chestnut gelding named Rufus with quite a few amusing quirks. :] (Hardly anyone ever rides him besides me and my friend 'cause he's the barn "meanie". I just think he's misunderstood. :P).
If you're on him and just standing in the ring he'll turn his head around and just start sucking/licking the toe of your boot. He's doesn't try to bite it, just slobbers all over it. :P
If you give him a crop, he'll take it and hold it in his mouth and swing it around until you take it away from him.
He'll steal food out of your hand (pb&j mainly :P), and he LOVES Jamba Juice.
If you open the top of his stall to let him stick his head out he'll stand with his head resting on the stall for hours.
When he's super relaxed his bottom lip hangs (like many horses), and his ears will sorta flop to the sides. :P
When you're showering him, and you hose off his face (even just on the mist setting) he'll squeeze his eyes shut as tightly as possible and lift his upper lip the entire time.
I love that horse. :]
EDIT: Just thought of another. There's a gray Arab gelding that I ride at camp. Whenever he canters he does so with his head tilted sideways. We have no idea why, but it's just what he does. :P

Well for some reason my boy Nakota always gets sooo excited when ever he sees a water bottle. Also we have never given him anything that was in one and we have never let him play with one, also we are his first and only owners. But yea first he will perk up his ears and reach his head out as far as he can to smell it and once he does smell it he starts walking around a lot then comes back and does the same thing over again and this has happened like every time we have one out witch is a lot.

So many things...many of which we are trying to get him to STOP doing xD
If he gets impatient he paws, but instead of just normal pawing he raises his leg like he's going to do a spanish walk, and then attempts to dig holes O_o
If any horses come in/leave the ring, he calls to them.
He bumps people with his head CONSTANTLY, despite or best efforts to get him to quit xD
If you make him do something he doesn't want to do he sighs REALLY loudly and grunts the whole time.
If you ask for a trot he listens REALLY closely, and if you move in the slightest, he lengthens into an extended trot...he likes to show off xD If he thinks people are watching him he arches his neck very fancily.
If he's being naughty he looks at you out of the corner of his eye BEFORE he pulls any stunts, so it's pretty easy to prevent it from happening xD
I could go on for days... he just has a huge personality and I wouldn't change it for the world :D

My horse, Daisy, will spook at the weirdest things. One time, she freaked out for no reason, and went bucking across the pasture. Then there's the times that she plays. (she's 8)
She'll get the other horses riled up, and race them all over the top pasture. Then she'll buck, crow-hop, and leap into the air from a standstill. Everyone says she's crazy, but I love her crazy antics. At least I've grown used to having to hold on for dear life whenever we come across something new. >/////<
Oh, and she hugs me sometimes. With her neck.
^o^

Sgt. Pepper just has to know what everything is before I groom him. Before I brush, comb, hoof pick etc, he wants to look at the brushes, sniff them and sometimes taste them as if to satisfy himself that they are safe. When I leave the box I occasionally leave little treats on the shelving just to give him something to do. I watch him and every time I leave he goes on the search. He lifts and paws before and during feed times and hay net time. He knows that I have treats in my pocket for when he's a "good boy" and when we are out hacking and he actually shows he doesn't care about the motorbike, I say gooooood boooooy. He just stops and look round for a treat! Also, he can see my elbow sticking out if I get my hanky out, thinks it a treat again! He also loves his bum being scratched, his tail goes to one side and he pulls the most amazing faces of pleasure.

Whenever we are out trail riding and pass by a place that has Paso Finos, my horse starts to do the little paso pacing thing. It's so weird he does it no matter what lol.
He can see them from the barn so I think he studies then shows off :P

Well... This is one of many quirky things she does..
When she is tied up and I'm fixing to saddle, she will actually grab the saddle pad or bell boots etc, and put them in the air. It's like the you can't reach game. :P She knows she can put off being ridden when I don't have a pad to use! These horses are smart!!!

One of my rescue horses Jenna who is only a yearling likes to drink out of juice boxes. She uses the straw like any human would. She likes Five Alive Passion Peach the best. I have no idea how this started just one day I thought I would show my juice box to her and she grabs the straw and starts sucking. To this day she loves doing it as long as she doesn't eat the straw my parents are ok with it. :)

Chance is one who loves to get dirty but he hates being dirty for long. After a rainy night when I put him out in the morning he goes and rolls every where that there is mud. Then, and I not know how, he gets the hose from under the fence and as soon as I walk into the pasture he comes running to me with the hose in this mouth.
